Business Development Specialist

In the role of Business Development Specialist, you will analyze sales pricing and margin trends & opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze each customer program and pack type for ‘margin’ and work with sales team to reduce low margin programs.
- Manage price sheets, update them weekly.
- Monitor market, consult Sales Managers for information and assemble it for pricing meetings.
- Manage annual sales plan for all product types. Update and monitor customer shipping targets and availability projections.
- Provide insight for annual crop planning.
- Monitor purchased product agreements, reporting, process.
- Assist with other business analysis projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- An optimistic person who sees solutions and improvement opportunities in every situation.
- A self-motivated, service-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative.
- Demonstrable proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data visualization and analysis (e.g. creating charts, working with large data sets).
- Exceptional ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
