QUICK & EASY MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients:

2 pounds Adora potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks

¾ cup hot milk

2 tablespoons butter

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 clove of garlic

Optional add-ins:

½ cup grated cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons freshly chopped dill

¼ cup cream cheese

Directions:

  1. Place potatoes in a large pot and add enough water to cover the potatoes. Add some salt and peeled garlic. Cook for 25 minutes or until very tender. Drain potatoes (leave the garlic clove in).
  2. Add hot milk, butter, salt and pepper and mash with a potato masher or a handheld mixer until potatoes become smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in any optional add-ins if desired. Enjoy!
