We are currently seeking General Farm Workers to support our agricultural needs in Riverhurst, SK.
Pay range is from $15.70 - 20 per hour/40 to 60 hours per week. This is a seasonal positional.
Responsibilities:
Clean the crops
Clear fields of wood and stones
Cut agricultural crops
Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour andvolume to fetch high price in market.
Mixing fertilizer
Pack fruits and vegetables
Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
Seed cutting
Sort fruits and vegetables
Weeding
Clean work area
Harvest crops
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
Perform general farm duties
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
