Quality Control Technician - Evening Shift

We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Control Technician to support our packaging facility in Winkler, MB. In this role you will be responsible for upholding our product quality standards and ensuring our customers receive only the very best potatoes and onions, from our fields to their tables.

In This Position You’ll Have the Opportunity to Do What You Do Best:

• Carry-out routine inspections and documentation of sorting, grading, sizing, and analyzing the efficiency of the optical grading machine.
• To minimize waste and optimize quality of sorting and sizing equipment.
• To conduct a testing of the wash lines and the metal detectors.
• Frequent line samples to ensure optical grading machine and grading staff are meeting required customer quality.
• Perform regular quality checks on stored products.
• Communicate quality concerns and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues.
• Assist in product testing to identify and diagnose potential problems.

• Experience and/or training in quality control is an asset but not required.
• Strong English language skills (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

This position comes with a $2 evening shift premium. This is a recurring seasonal position.
